The Sistine Chapel
As a young girl in elementary school my teachers always seemed to talk about the Sistine Chapel. I have always known what it was but never focused on the details. I found it quite interesting how meticulous Michelangelo was about his art. He was able to prove the other artists wrong and painted something extremely beautiful. I feel like I relate to Michelangelo and I would say he is extremely OCD. Do you have a Michelangelo in you?

In some cases I show signs of OCD, it's mostly at work that I do it. I'd rather do it myself once than have someone help me and risk the chances of having to do it twice because it wasn't right the first time. I can see why he would exhibit signs of OCD when it came to his art. He wanted it to be perfect, who better to do it right the first time than himself right?
I also remember seeing the "Sistine Chapel" countless times throughout my life; either from movies, cartoons, books, school, etc. However, I never really understood what is was, what it stood for, who made it, and why is was so great. But taking Art 3 and 5, I've learned new things that answered my many questions.
I think everyone heavily influenced by creative thoughts, images and happenings have some OCD in them. People who take part in a form artistic expression takes time and pride in their works whatever that may be. In thus by induldging in using artistic outlets for your own pleasures you would want to create what you feel is perfection.

I too, like Michaelangelo, can be stubborn and difficult to get along with at times.. also i can be a perfectionist and like to work alone.
