Eadweard J Muybridge Celebrated by Google

Google has changed their logo to a "doodle" today to celebrate the 182nd birthday of Eadweard J Muybridge.
The animated graphic celebrates Muybridge's "The Horse in Motion", a film strip-style collection of shots created using 24 cameras which capture the running habits of racehorses owned by Leland Stanford, a Californian businessman and animal breeder.

Eadweard J Muybridge invented Moving Picture and 3D imaging and was a great film maker. Its very interesting and caring how Google Doodle celebrates his birthday by customizing their homepage with Muybridge’s The Horse in Motion concept. Happy Birthday Eadweard!

I think it is crazy how animation has gone so far when it comes to technology. Muybridge created a new generation of animation. I am glad that google recognized such an amazing film maker!

It's interesting how Eadweard captured the horses in motion. It allows us to get a closer look at how horses gallop. I never knew at one point that all four of the horses' legs go off the ground. Eadweard J Muybridge will always be remembered as a great and interesting film maker.

Wow its amazing how animation works now a days. The horse looked like it was traveling for miles continuously yet it was simple only doing few moves at a time. Really had all my focus towards it.

Google has always been known to change their logo. Its is a way for Google to connect with is users. The "Horse in Motion" was a wonderful way to celebrate the British photographer Eadweard Muybridge 182nd birth date. The colors Google used were a great way the make the photos reflecting the race horses in motion s stand out
